金永平,男,1984年9月生,博士,教授,博士研究生导师,国家级高层次青年人才、自然资源部高层次科技创新人才工程科技创新团队首席专家。现任海洋矿产资源探采装备与安全技术国家地方联合工程实验室主任。主持国家重点研发计划课题、国家自然科学基金、湖南省科技重大专项课题、湖南省重点研发计划等20余项。获国家技术发明二等奖(排2)、全国博士后创新创业大赛银奖(排1)、海洋强国青年科学家提名奖、湖南省技术发明一等奖(排3)、湖南省科技进步一等奖(排11)、湖南省高等教育教学成果特等奖/二等奖/三等奖等多项奖励。授权发明专利79项,其中美国、欧盟发明专利18项。发表学术论文72篇。
